The photo session is about our exploration of light and movement and interesting shapes and poses. Thus, most of the session fee reflects the experience that we create, and the cost of prints and any additional digital licensing is treated separately to allow you to fine-tune the physical products that you take away from the shoot.

We Can Create Other Options!
Let’s talk about putting together other packages based on your particular needs and preferences. This process is all about creating something special for you.
The Process for Sessions, Editing, Prints
A standard session will be on location in Madison, Wisconsin and will last up to two hours. Locations that require rental fees will incur additional session costs. For sessions more than 30 minutes outside of Madison, we will factor in additional travel cost. The session fee and signed release form will be due before a session booking is finalized.
The session fee includes the first-pass edited but predominantly uncropped photographer-selected photos from the shoot displayed on a digital contact sheet for you to review. You will always have the option to request that particular photos are omitted from the final set and not used. For the standard session, your two favorite photos will be further edited, cropped and delivered digitally at web resolution. Significant photo retouching will incur an additional fee.
Prints and digital files will be available at additional cost. I will provide online gallery access to the photo set for selecting and ordering prints. Learn more about the printshop products – photographic prints, metal prints, gallery wrap canvases, mounted prints – offered through my online galleries. I also accept separate orders for items such as photo books, greeting cards and images printed on clothing and housewares.
Formal Policies and Legalities
Copyright: All images are copyrighted by Tona Williams, the photographer, and digital sharing is permitted only for noncommercial use and with photo credit attributed (i.e. photo by Tona Williams, www.tonawilliams.com). Licenses may be obtained for other uses.
Online Galleries and Print Orders: Online galleries will be available for a limited period of time (generally 30 days), and print orders must either be made online within that time period or paid in advance to the photographer. Images will usually be kept on file for at least one year after the initial order and if they are on file they will be available for orders of reprints. There is a $25 fee to republish an online gallery that has expired.
Payment: You will be sent an electronic invoice for session booking, and you can choose to pay by credit card or check. A link to your required release form will be included with this invoice.
Image Usage: Tona Williams reserves the right to use the final set of images from the shoot for portfolio, display, publication, or artistic purposes. The release form that the client signs and submits when booking the session covers this.
